Kwiebel is a quiet game. You sign in and step into your own little house, where your pet is waiting. You feed it, you wash it, you stroke it — and you furnish the house and garden exactly the way you like.
Your pet never dies, never gets ill and never holds anything against you. Stay away a week and it is simply glad you are back. This is a game to be in for a moment, not one you have to keep up with.
Feeding, washing and stroking. More than one pet? They share the meal — your work does not double.
Drag furniture where you want it, turn it, take it away. The house stays the way you left it.
Sign in at night and it is night in your house. The light follows the actual clock.
Keep more than one and they seek each other out, play together, and are happier for it.
None of it is on a timer and none of it nags. It is there when you feel like it.
Twenty-two kinds live in the brook behind the garden. Some only bite after dark, and a better rod reaches the bigger ones.
Sow, water, harvest. Feed it to your pet or sell it at your own little stall — the first of each kind pays the most.
Rain, wind and morning mist, on the real clock. The swing sways along with it.
A photo mode without any of the buttons in the way, and a page of small milestones you two got to together.
A widget that shows how your pet is doing without opening anything.
A fox, a bear, a giraffe, a squirrel. Two of them are at home at a time and you choose which — nobody is ever given away.
Every piece of furniture sits on a half-metre grid and goes exactly where you put it. Put it in the wrong place? One tap back. Your pet walks around it neatly — except across the rug, it just walks over that.
No adverts. No subscription. No timers that go off, no streak that punishes you for missing a day, and nothing that can be lost. Everything in the shop can be saved up for in the game; paying is a shortcut, never the only way. Your data sits on servers in the European Union, and there is not a single tracker in the app.
Kwiebel is on its way to Android and iOS. Want to have a look before then, or have a question? Do get in touch: info@vosko-apps.com
