Privacy statement

Kwiebel is a game by Vosko-apps (Dutch Chamber of Commerce 42105371). This statement explains which data the app stores, why that is needed, and what your rights are.
What we store
- Your email address and password. Needed to create an account, so your house is still there when you sign in on another device. The password is stored encrypted and we cannot read it.
- The names you give your animals. That is text you type yourself, so what it says is up to you. You can change it at any time.
- The state of your animals. Hunger, energy, cleanliness, happiness, which species it is, how long it has lived with you, whether it is asleep and whether it is at home.
- How your rooms are furnished. Which furniture you put where, and which wallpaper is up.
- Your vegetable patch. What is in the ground, when it was sown, and what is in your backpack.
- Your in-game currency and your belongings. How many acorns you have and what you own.
- When you last visited. Needed to work out how hungry your pet is when you come back.
- What you have bought. Which sets and which animals — only that you have them, no payment details. See below.
What we do not do
- No adverts.
- No analytics or tracking software. The app contains no external measurement service of any kind.
- No selling of data, and no sharing for advertising or profiling.
- No access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone or photos.
If you buy something
Payment goes through the App Store or Google Play. We never see your payment details: those stay with Apple or Google. We are only told whether a purchase succeeded.
To know what you have bought we use RevenueCat. They receive the receipt from the store and a random number belonging to your account — no name and no email address. RevenueCat is based in the United States; that transfer relies on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. If you never buy anything, nothing is sent to RevenueCat at all.
Where the data is kept
The data sits with Supabase, on servers inside the European Union. Supabase processes it solely on our instructions and does not use it for anything of their own.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, your animals, your furnishings, your vegetable patch and your acorns go with it. That cannot be undone.
Deleting your account
You can do this in the app itself: tap Delete account at the top right. You are first shown what disappears and then have to confirm once more. After that it is gone immediately — your animals, your rooms, your vegetable patch, your acorns and everything you own. Nothing is kept and there is no grace period, so only do it if you are certain.
Cannot work it out, or can no longer sign in? Send a message to the address at the bottom of this page from the email address of your account. We delete everything within thirty days and confirm that we have.
Your rights
You may ask which data we hold about you, have it corrected, have it deleted, or request a copy. Send a message to the address below. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Children
Kwiebel is intended for players aged sixteen and over. We do not ask for your age and deliberately collect as little as possible.
Changes
If what we store changes, we update this page and put a new date at the top.
